Lost Boys Movies

For those of you who were fans of the original Lost Boys movie with Keifer Sutherland (David), the sequel has probably caught your attention. I personally haven't watched it yet because the reviews were so poor, but I'm thinking of venturing into it now.


Apparently Keifer Sutherland has a younger half-brother, Angus, who plays the lead vampire. While not identical, they do have those same unique lips.

Oh! And David didn't die in the original. : ) His story continues in Lost Boys: Reign of Frogs comics.


Shane, the leader in The Tribe, is David's progeny. He is supposedly an escaped victim of the attack David's gang made at the bonfire in Lost Boys. The humans in the movie, two orphans, seem to be the recently orphaned children of Michael and Star from the original movie. These details are apparently only in the comics, which weren't well marketed enough to be the basis for a the second movie. Those of us who haven't searched for details are lost in the second movie.

Lost Boys: The Thirst, part three, will be out this year.
